Straylight Analysis Support for Sentinel 5

This project is carried out under a programme of, and funded by, the European Space Agency (ESA).

The aim of the Sentinel 5 mission is to monitor the composition of the atmosphere for Copernicus Atmosphere Services (click here for more information). The associated complex spectral measurements imply stringent requirements with respect to straylight effects. Berlich Optical Systems Engineering is performing a quantitative analysis of crucial straylight contributors in order to assess their influence on the systems radiometric accuracy limitations.
